Admission Requirements Overview
Admission requirements are the same for every program at the American Denturist College. Applicants must meet basic criteria and demonstrate readiness to succeed in a distance-education environment.
To qualify for admission, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Submit an Application for Admission
- Pay the Application Fee ($50) and Admissions Exam Fee ($50 per attempt)
- Provide a government-issued photo ID
- Provide evidence of high school completion (diploma, transcript, GED, international equivalent, or self-certification)
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (if applicable)
- Complete the Admissions Exam with the required score (minimum 16)
- Review and sign the Enrollment Agreement upon acceptance
Students must also meet the College’s Technology Requirements to complete online coursework.

Required Documentation
Applicants must submit documentation verifying their identity, academic history, and readiness for online study.
Required documents include:
- Completed Application for Admission
- $50 Application Fee
- $50 Admissions Exam Fee (each attempt)
- Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID)
- Evidence of high school completion, such as:
- Official or unofficial transcripts
- High school diploma
- GED certificate
- International equivalent
- High School Graduation/GED Self-Certification Form (if needed)
- Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)

Important: Submitting false or altered documentation may result in denial of admission or dismissal from the College.
Steps to Apply
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Complete the online application at adc.edu or request a paper application.
Step 2: Submit Fees
Pay the $50 Application Fee and $50 Admissions Exam Fee. These fees are non-refundable.
Step 3: Send Academic Documents
Email transcripts to admissions@adc.edu or mail them to:

Step 4: Take the Admissions Exam
After your fees are received, ADC will email you the exam link. Applicants may retest as needed; the fee applies for each attempt.
Step 5: Admissions Decision
The Admissions Team reviews your materials and notifies you of acceptance or denial within 15 days.
Step 6: Enrollment Agreement
Accepted students receive an Enrollment Agreement to sign. Enrollment is complete when all documents are received. Students should review the Academic Catalog and Technology Requirements before finalizing enrollment.
Fees
Application and Admissions Fees:
- Application Fee: $50
- Admissions Exam Fee: $50 (each attempt)
Academic Fees:
- Registration Fee: $50 per term
- Technology Fee: $100 per term

Transfer Credits
ADC recognizes the value of previous academic and professional experience and may award transfer credit accordingly.
Transfer Credit Eligibility:
- Credits must come from institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or international equivalents.
- Only courses completed with a grade of “C” or higher may be considered.
- Official transcripts must be sent directly to admissions@adc.edu.
For Diploma Graduates Entering the BTSc Program:
ADC will evaluate completion of a denturist diploma program to determine transfer into the bachelor-level curriculum.
Challenge Tests:
Students may test out of eligible courses (up to 25% of the program).
- Passing score: 70%
- One attempt only
- No fee to take the exam
- If passed, the course is charged at 75% of tuition
Transferability Notice:
Acceptance of ADC credits by another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

English Language Policy
ADC offers programs only in English. Applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency.
Proficiency may be met by:
- Graduation from an English-language institution
- Completion of 30 semester credit hours at an accredited English-language institution with a grade of C or higher
- Submission of qualifying scores within the last two years from:
- TOEFL PBT: 57
- TOEFL iBT: 61
- IELTS: 6.0
- Pearson PTE: 44
- Duolingo: 95
- MET: 53
- ECCE: 650/LP
- ECPE: 650/LP
- Accuplacer ESL comprehensive score: 350, with required minimum section scores
- Eiken: Pre-1
- CEFR: B2 level
Transcripts that are not in English must include an official translation and evaluation using a recognized service such as NACES.
